Big nights, rotating callers
Our Saturday series brings in a different line-up of callers through the season, with squares alternating with Phase II–IV rounds cued by Barbara Bibb or easy line dances led by Traci and Mike Lamar.
- 6:30 pm · Mainstream squares, with rounds or lines between tips
- 8:00 pm · Plus squares, with rounds or lines between tips
- 9:30 pm · Last tip, goodbyes, see you soon!
- A computer rotation program generates the squares so everyone dances equally
- Square dance or casual attire, your choice. Theme nights invite costumes
- Feel free to bring a snack to share, and please bring your own water bottle

Learn Plus, then keep it sharp
Each Plus lesson series covers all 50 Plus calls in about four months. After that we dance the full Plus program for two more months, so what you’ve learned really sticks.

Starting with Dan Clairmont at the Triangle Lebanese American Center. You’ll need to be dancing Mainstream comfortably. Not sure you’re ready? Ask Eva.

Home base for Mainstream
Tuesday is where our beginner series runs, and where new graduates and experienced dancers keep their Mainstream smooth. While a series is on, the last half hour is a Mainstream workshop for anyone who’s completed lessons.
Be an angel. Coming early to dance with the beginner class is the best thing you can do for the club. It’s how every one of us learned.
Current beginner series graduates on January 12, 2027. The next series starts March 2, 2027, with a Party Night on February 23. Beginners sign up on our beginner site, SquareDanceRaleigh.com.
